Car Identifier with Deep Neural Network
We train a deep learning neural network to recognize different car brands and model years.
The network can now distinguish over 1500 different cars, from classic cars in the 1960s to newly-released cars in 2020.
Car Image Database
We build the image database on our own, instead of using the commonly used car datasets online (e.g., Stanford Cars196 and CUHK CompCars).
We have over 40GB image data of more than 1500 different car models. The number is growing constantly.

Privacy
To use MudCar, you do not need to regiester an account. Just open the app, take a photo or choose from your photo library.
The photo you uploaded will be processed and stored in our server. We will use the images to help re-train and improve the machine learning model. The images will NOT be used for other purposes.
Only images you are going to take/upload will be stored. No other information will be collected from you without your prior consent.
In other words, we don't know who you are from the images you have taken/uploaded. And we don't know the images were taken/uploaded by which person.
